Billing & proration

How Lead Oracle bills your account, what happens when you add or remove a location or Citations mid-cycle, and how volume pricing is recalculated.

How billing works

  • Billing is monthly, charged in advance on your billing date (the day you started your subscription).
  • The self-managed (DIY) plan is priced per location, with the per-location rate dropping as you add more locations.
  • Add-ons like Citations are added to your existing plan and billed per location on the same monthly cycle.
  • No long-term contracts — you can cancel anytime.

Adding a location mid-cycle

When you add a Google Business Profile location partway through your billing cycle, two things happen at once:

  1. Prorated charge. You're billed immediately for the new location, but only for the days remaining in the current cycle — not a full month. The new location becomes active right away.
  2. Tier recalculation. If the new location pushes your total count into a lower per-location tier, the lower rate applies to every location on your account, not just the new one.

Example

You have 3 locations at $85/mo each. On day 15 of a 30-day cycle, you add a 4th location. That moves you into the 4–9 tier at $69/mo per location. You're charged a prorated amount for the new location for the remaining 15 days (about $69 × 15/30 = $34.50), and the new $69 rate applies to all four locations from your next renewal forward.

Adding Citations mid-cycle

Citations is $25/mo per location and is added to your existing plan. When you turn it on mid-cycle, it's prorated for the days remaining in the current cycle and then aligns to your regular monthly billing date going forward, so everything renews together on one invoice.

Removing a location or canceling Citations

When you remove a location or cancel the Citations add-on partway through a cycle, the unused portion of what you've already paid is converted into a prorated credit and automatically applied to your next invoice. We don't issue cash refunds for mid-cycle changes — the credit simply reduces what you owe at your next renewal.

  • If removing a location drops your count into a higher per-location tier, the new rate applies to your remaining locations at the next renewal.
  • Credits carry forward — if a credit is larger than your next invoice, the remainder stays on your account and applies to future invoices.

Example

You're paying for Citations at $25/mo on a location and cancel it on day 20 of a 30-day cycle. The unused 10 days (about $25 × 10/30 = $8.33) becomes a credit applied to your next invoice.

Canceling your plan

You can cancel anytime with no long-term contract. Your plan stays active through the end of the current paid cycle, and you won't be charged again after that.
