How to Find Your Google Review Link Without a Tool
Google gives every verified business a review link of its own. There are three ways to get it, plus one for profiles you don't own. All of them open the same review form as the link above.
1. From Google Search on a computer
- Sign in with the Google account that owns or manages the Business Profile.
- Search for your business name, or search "my business". Your profile opens with the owner tools above the results.
- Click Ask for reviews (older profiles show Get more reviews).
- Copy the link. It looks like
g.page/r/…/review.
2. From the Google Maps app on your phone
- Open Google Maps signed in as the owner and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Your Business Profiles and choose the business.
- Find Ask for reviews and tap Share or copy the link. Labels move between app versions; if you can't find it, use the computer method.
3. For a business with several locations
Each location has its own Business Profile, place ID and review link. Repeat the steps for each one, or search each location in the generator above, and send customers the link for the location they visited so the review lands on the right profile.
4. For a profile you don't manage (agencies)
- Look up the business's place ID with Google's Place ID Finder, or search it in the generator above.
- Add it to the end of
https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=. - Open the result in a browser to check it shows the right business before you hand it to the client.
Where to Send Your Review Link
Ask within a day of the job or visit, while the experience is fresh, and ask every customer: Google's policies prohibit asking only happy customers and offering anything in return for a review.
- Text message after the job is done. Short, with the link at the end.
- Email receipt or invoice: add a "Review us on Google" button that points to the link.
- Printed QR code on receipts, business cards, table tents or a counter sign.
- Your website: a button on the contact or thank-you page.
